戦後50年メモリアルアルバム　　50 Post-war Memorable Years Series

郵政省では、我が国の歴史、自然、文化、産業などを広く内外に紹介するために、動植物・芸術・歴史・文学などをテーマとして、シリーズ切手を発行しています。この<戦後50年メモリアルシリーズ>では、第二次世界大戦が終結した昭和20年（1945年）から平成7年（1995年）までの「戦後50年」を振り返り、その間の代表的なできごとや人物などを題材とした切手がシリーズ化されました。

題材は、平成7年8月に実施した「戦後50年メモリアル切手発行題材のアンケート」の結果をもとに、有識者の方々から伺った意見をふまえて選ばれたもので、いずれも、戦後の新しい日本を語るには欠かせないできごとや人物と言えるでしょう。

<戦後50年メモリアルシリーズ>は、第1集から第5集まで、次のテーマでまとめられています。

第1集「国家的主要トピックス」／第2集「感動と発見のイベント」／第3集「社会・生活の移り変わり」／第4集「未来に向けて」／第5集「私が選んだ懐かしのスター」

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issues commemorative postage stamp series on the themes of animals, plants, art, history, and literature. The purpose is widely to introduce Japanese history, nature, culture, and industries at home and abroad.

In this “50 Post-war Memorable Years Series” that recalls the period from 1945 when World War II ended up to and including 1995, postage stamps were issued marking current symbolic events and people. We chose the designs from the results of a questionnaire for designing the 50 Post-war Memorable Years Series that was conducted in August 1995. We also solicited the opinions of experts in diverse domains. The events and individuals chosen were those who proved indispensable to the new Japan that emerged following the war.

The 50 Post-war Memorable Years Series consists of five collections:

Collection 2: Impressive Events for Discovery
Collection 3: Changes in Society and Living
Collection 4: For the Future
Collection 5: My Familiar Stars
