| 切手趣味週間は、郵便切手が持つ「美しさ」や「芸術性」といった文化的価値を一般の方々に広く認識していただくとともに、切手収集の趣味の普及を図るため、昭和22（1947）年に当時の逓信省が設定した「切手趣味の週間」をその始まりとしています。 Philately Week Philately Week was established in November 1947 for the purpose of publicizing the art and beauty of postal stamps and promoting stamp collecting. 今回の切手デザインは、桃山時代の絵師・狩野永徳 （1543（天文12）年〜1590（天正18）年）の屏風「上杉本洛中洛外図屏風 （米沢市上杉博物館蔵）」を採り上げました。 Stamp design The design of the stamp was taken from Scenes in and around Kyoto, Uesugi Version (in the collection of the Yonezawa City Uesugi Museum) painted on a pair of six-panel folding screens by kano Eitoku (1543-1590), a Momoyama period artist of the Kano school. |
