| 【Ｇ８サミットとは】 Movies Ｇ８サミットとは、日、米、英、仏、独、伊、加、露８カ国の首脳及びＥＵの委員長が参加して毎年開催される首脳会議です。 サミットを開催する国が、開催する年の１月～１２月の１年間、サミット議長国となり、これまで日本は１９７９年、１９８６年、１９９３年、２０００年の４回議長国となっています。 ２００８年は、北海道洞爺湖地域にて、日本が５回目の議長国としてサミットを開催します。 [G8 Summit] The G8 (Group of Eight) Summit is a leader's conference held annually with the participation of the leaders of Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Russia and the Chairman of the EU. The country organizing the summit will serve as the summit chair for one year from January through December. Japan has so far acted as chair four times in 1979, 1986, 1993 and 2000.
