| 平城遷都１３００年記念 [平城京跡大極殿と奈良の文化財］ The 1300th Anniversary of Nara Heijo-kyo Capital (2010.04.23 issued) |

| ⑤ 興福寺 天燈鬼像（てんとうきぞう、国宝） Tentoki in Kofuku-ji Temple (National Treasure) 鎌倉時代再興期の西金堂須弥壇に安置されていた像で、四天王像に踏みつけられる邪鬼を独立させ、仏前を照らす役目を与えていた。 |
| ① 平城宮跡 大極殿（だいごくでん） Daigoku-den in Heijo Palace Remain 天皇の即位や元日朝賀などの国家儀式、あるいは外国使節との接見の儀式が行われた施設。2010年の平城遷都1300年記念に合わせて復原工事が進められている。 |
| ③ 東大寺 誕生釈迦仏立像（たんじょうしゃかぶつりゅうぞう、国宝） Shaka at birth in Todai-ji Temple (National Treasure) 釈迦は、摩耶夫人の右脇下から生まれると直ちに七歩あゆんで天と地を指し、「天上天下唯我独尊」と唱え、九龍が香水を濯いで祝福したという。この故事にのっとり4月8日の仏生会は、本像に水をかけて仏誕を祝った。 |
| ② 春日大社 中門（重要文化財） The middle gate of Kasugataisha Shrine (Important Cultural Property) 式内社（名神大社）、二十二社の一社で、旧社格は官幣大社。 全国にある春日神社の総本社。中門は入母屋造、檜皮葺、一間一戸の楼門で、この奥に国宝の御本殿がある。 |
